Region Skåne’s “Nära vård och hälsa” program is responsible for ten evening and weekend clinics in Skåne, including in Malmö, Lund, and Trelleborg. This change is being made because Region Skåne wants to be able to manage healthcare services during evenings and weekends so that they provide the greatest possible benefit to you as a resident.
First and foremost, you should receive the care you need from us on weekdays, but if a medical need arises that cannot wait until we are open, you should, as usual, contact 1177.se or call 1177. Alternatively, if you’re in Malmö, we recommend that you go directly to Region Skåne’s Södervärn evening and weekend clinic, where we believe you can receive safe and ethically sound care. In the event of a serious illness or injury, you should always call 112 or go to a hospital emergency room.
You are very important to us, and to provide you with the best possible care, we are launching an emergency hotline staffed by a nurse on weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 010–20 44 112. We ask that you use this number only when your need for care is so urgent that it cannot wait until our regular business hours.
