, Fölet Child Health Center

At the Fölet Child Health Center, we monitor your child’s development from birth through preschool. Our pediatric nurse offers health checkups, vaccinations, and support and advice regarding your child’s growth, eating habits, and development. During the first home visit after childbirth, you’ll receive information about breastfeeding, and together we’ll create a personalized plan for what works best for your child and your family.

Frequently asked questions

Here's what patients most often wonder about

Yes, unless you were automatically registered with us when the child was born. In that case, the first visit is scheduled automatically and usually takes place as a home visit when the child is a newborn.

At each visit, we monitor the child’s growth chart and discuss breastfeeding or bottle-feeding. Together, we’ll find what works best for you.

We closely monitor growth using weight and height charts. If any deviations are detected, we develop a plan for follow-up or further evaluation.

Many skin rashes in young children are harmless. We’ll examine your child and determine whether treatment is needed or if you can wait and see.

If your child is younger than 3 months and has a fever, you should always contact the Jägersrohälsan Health Center or Region Skåne’s evening and weekend clinics.

Children develop at different rates. We monitor their language development during health checkups and provide advice or a referral if they need support.

The BVC is for healthy children's checkups, vaccinations, and developmental assessments. If your child becomes ill and needs a medical evaluation, please contact the Jägersrohälsan Health Center.
